How to Hire SellItAll4U: From Estate Sale Inquiry to Signing the Contract
March 17, 2023
Are you looking for someone to sell your belongings, or those of a loved one, and you aren’t sure where to start? If you’re interested in hiring SellItAll4U for an estate sale, but aren’t sure how, here are the main steps involved in initiating this process:
Step 1: Phone Call Discussion
- First, call Gina (419-944-8568) to discuss your inquiry over the phone.
- It is helpful to provide basic information, including the location of the house, the general time you would like to have the sale by, and the types of items that will be for sale.
- Based on a variety of factors (including our upcoming availability, size and contents of the house, distance, and more) she may agree to meet in person (Step 2), or she will refer you to other respected estate sale companies.
- Note: EstateSales.net is a wonderful resource for finding estate sales in the area, as well as finding an estate sale company to hire. We encourage you to look through their Tips on Choosing an Estate Sale Company in order to help guide you through the process of finding the best company for you and what to consider before committing to an estate sale.
Step 2: Home Evaluation
- This is our first in-person meeting. We will visit the house, or location of the potential sale, in order to evaluate the home and determine if we can officially accept the sale.
- At this meeting, we will want to know what items we will (and will not) be selling and when we would schedule the sale. We encourage you to prepare any questions for us. If you aren’t sure what to ask, EstateSales.net is a great resource, and even provides ideas of questions you may want to consider asking.
- If we are able to accept your sale, we will contact you within a couple days to let you know and to schedule a day to meet again to go over the contract as well as our next steps moving forward.
Step 3: Contract Signing
- If we’ve accepted your sale, we will meet in person one more time to go over our contract with you, discuss our next steps moving forward, and answer any questions you may still have. We will both have a copy of the contract after signing it.
- Once this is done, the only thing left for you to do is remove any personal belongings you’re keeping, hand over a set of keys, and we will take it from there!
